Hello world! Introducing Microsoft Lync SDK.

With the first public release of the Microsoft Lync SDK, new doors and windows are opened in the Unified Communications segment. The SDK offers exciting features such as the ability to drag and drop a fully functional Lync contact list into your WPF or Silverlight application. Furthermore, the SDK enables you to access most of the Lync features through the Model API, bringing them into your application.

The Lync 2010 SDK is the client-side API set that enables the integration and extension of Lync experiences.

I'm part of the Lync SDK test team and I've created this blog to help you create exciting new applications with features like Presence, Contact Search, Conversation Context, Audio and Video calling embedded into them!

Stay tuned for articles on how to use the Lync SDK to implement really cool scenarios.
